Dog Journal – Entry 102: After The Bath

puppy-1022421_640Few dogs like the wonderfully notorious bathtime. But there’s not much you can do to avoid them, though there are a few techniques you can use to avoid going in to soon. But bathtime is inevitable when your pal really sets their mind to it.

But there are a few methods you can put into practice to perhaps dissuade your friend from even considering putting you in the tub next time. Here are a few helpful recommendations that I’ve used for paying back your pal for doing this to you.

Shake yourself off everywhere inconvenient. When they tell you not to do that, shake even more. Kitchen floors are great for a grand effect. I don’t know why, but it just works.

Rub yourself on everything fluffy like the rugs, carpet, sofa, and pillows. Especially, you should try to get to places where your pal likes to sleep or lay down.

If you’re trapped or get cornered, it’s time to tackle your pal and get them soaked as well. And don’t let them get away. Make sure they get just as wet as you.

Additionally, it is now time to play and give hugs and snuggle with anyone and everyone you come across. Do not permit anyone not to snuggle with you. Also, everything becomes a plaything. Just act like you lost your mind.

Your pal will be far less inclined to give you a bath next time. At least, it should give them something to think about before they put you in the tub and rub soapy suds all over your face and wash all the cool scents you’ve been saving up for the past month.
